RIP Tornado ADVs

The Saudi Arabian ADV (Air Defence Variant) Tornados have all been stripped of usable parts, engines etc, and the fuselages are sitting on the ground with the undercarriage retracted, gathering dust at Tabuk. The ADV Tornados have all been replaced by the Typhoons KSA have contracted for.

  1. It is a sad sight to see this beautiful and still useful fighter jets go to waste. The Royal Saudi Airforce could have just retained these aircraft as supplements to their Euro Typhoons & F15s or used as an advance trainer. In extreme case, RSAF could have just offered at discounted price these aircraft to allied countries that are in dire need of replacement military aircraft. Such a waste of opportunity and resources.
