ISIS Vehicles Being Hunted By Russian Mi-28 Helicopters In Eastern Homs, Syria

After Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to assist his friend in Syria, President Bashar al-assad, the scenario of the Syrian Civil War changed. By sending Russian Air Force and then Russian Special Operations Forces to Syrian soil to fight deadly terrorism of ISIS/Daesh it changes the faces of the war forever. Russian Air Force's continuous bombing on ISIS positions created devastating situations and forced those inhumane terrorists to pull back! Putin's intervention into Syrian war significantly reduced Daesh's mass killing of innocent civilians across Syria and Iraqi territories this terrorist group captured.

Firslty Russians cleared forward areas those were in ISIS capture and then compelled them to pull back. While Syrian Arab Army holds some ground Russia intensified the air strikes which created havocs for ISIS! They broke the supply chain of ISIS, curtail arms supply and finally made them to gather in holes that Russian fighter jets and Spec Ops Force Spetsnaz along with SyAA can smash these terrorists group forever.

However, most of the western leaders and mainstream media made, and still, crocodiles' tears by shouting that Russians targeting innocent civilians who're not supporting Bashar al-Assad. Kremlin didn't hear it but, proved it that CIA-Mossad-Saudi nexus created and keep alive ISIS and oither Syrian terrorists groups to topple Assad. In fact, Turkey was dealing it with great eagerness to see Assad ousted and handling the whole matter from behind the curtain.

Although, whose are behind ISIS, it's now smashed to death! Definitely credits goes to Putin's Russia! Toppling plan for Assad is now dead but very recently Saudi Foreign Minister al-Jubeir said that Plan-B to oust Assad will be implemented! To whom he threw the threat, we all know! We must wait and see what happens next!

The SFW CBU-105

Textron Systems’ Sensor Fuzed Weapon, SFW™, is a highly effective air-delivered area weapon designed to defeat a wide range of moving and fixed targets on land, at sea and in littoral environments. One SFW can neutralize many targets and do so nearly real time, leaving no evasion time for the adversary. It’s been integrated onto a number of United States and Allied Forces fighter and bomber platforms.

The SFW CBU-105 D/B system exceeds very tight U.S. Department of Defense policy on munitions systems by regulating unexploded ordnance (UXO) to less than one percent. SFW has demonstrated greater than 99 percent reliability by the verified performance in operational testing. Features of this weapon system, combined with self-destruct and self-neutralization, ensure virtually no UXO.

BLU-108 SUBMUNITION

The SFW composed of 10 BLU-108 Submunitions that each carry four Skeet projectile warheads, while every smart Skeets are equipped with dual-mode passive infrareds (IR) and active laser sensors. The BLU-108 Submunitions is capable of integration into other weapons systems for precise engagements of multiple targets.

Once deployed, each smart Skeet warheads sweeps for targets using the IR sensor to identify a thermal signature, while the laser sensor validates the target profile for improved aim point and lethality. When a valid target is detected, the warhead explodes which is a copper explosive.

To Counter Pakista's Nasr SRBM India Successfully Test Fires Prithvi-II Tactical SRBM (with video)

Link to SHARE on your profile - To Counter Pakista's Nasr SRBM India Successfully Test Fires Prithvi-II Tactical SRBM

Subscribe to Military Tiger - MilitaryTiger

Prithvi-I was a short-range class surface-to-surface ballistic missile with a maximum warhead capacity of 1,000 kg, ranges 150 km. It's CEP is 10-50 metres and can be launched from Transporter erector launchers. This class of Prithvi missile was inducted into the Indian Army in 1994.

Prithvi-II is also a single stage liquid-fuelled SRBM having a maximum warhead mounting capability of 500 kg, but it's range extended to 250 kilometres. It was developed with the Indian Air Force being the primary user. It was first test-fired on January 27, 1996 and the development stages were completed in 2004. This variant has been inducted in to the Army as well. In a recent test, the Missile tested with an extended range of 350 kilometres and improved Aided Inertial Navigation system.

After a failed test on 24 September 2010 two more missiles were launched on December 22, 2010 which proved to be partially successful. A test firing on 9 June 2011 at the Interim Test Range in Chandipur was successful with the missile reaching an accuracy of better than 10 meters.

Prithvi-III (codenamed Dhanush meaning Bow) is a two-stage ship-to-surface missile. The first stage is solid fuelled with a 16 metric ton force (157 kN) thrust motor. The second stage is liquid fuelled. The missile can carry a 1,000 kg warhead to a distance of 350 km and a 500 kg warhead to a distance of 600 kilometres and a 250 kilogram warhead up to a distance of 750 kilometres. Dhanush is a system consisting of a stabilization platform (Bow) and the Missile (Arrow).

Supposedly it is a customised version of the Prithvi and that the additional customizations in missile configuration is to certify it for sea worthiness. Dhanush has to be launched from a hydraulically stabilized launch pad. Its low range acts against it and thus it is seen a weapons either to be used to destroy an aircraft carrier or an enemy port. The missile has been tested from the surface ships many times.

Prithvi III was first tested in 2000 from INS Subhadra,
a Sukanya class patrol craft. The missile was launched from an updated, reinforced helicopter deck of the vessel. The first flight test of the 250 km variant was
only partially successful. The full operational testing was completed in 2004. The following year in December an enhanced 350 km version of the missile was tested from the INS Rajput and successfully hit a land based target. The missile was again successfully tested-fired from INS Subhadra anchored about 35 km offshore from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur on December 13, 2009. It was the sixth test of the missile. Up to now this missile has not been deployed largely for logistical deficiencies.

Russia just conducted a flight test of a revolutionary hypersonic glide vehicle for the purpose of delivering nuclear or conventional warheads penetrating highly advanced missile defenses systems.

The test firing of the hypersonic glider took place from eastern
Russia involving the launch of an SS-19 intercontinental ballistic missile. Russia’s state-run Interfax news agency confirmed the test on Thursday.

Pentagon spokeswoman agrees the news but declined to comment on. Only two tests are known about this new hypersonic glider while the first test took place last year.

China and the United States also are developing hypersonic missiles, both gliders and jet-powered vehicles that travel at extreme speeds.

China has conducted six tests of its DF-ZF hypersonic glider. A U.S. Army hypersonic missile blew up shortly after launch in August 2014.  The Pentagon also is developing a scramjet-powered hypersonic weapon.

Hypersonic missiles are being developed to defeat increasingly sophisticated missile defenses. The weapons are designed for use in rapid, long-range strikes.

On Friday May 17, the US Navy's X-47B Unmanned Combat Air System Demonstrator took another historic step as it conducted its first touch-and-go landings on the nuclear aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush off the coast of Virginia. This maneuver is a critical achievement in the Navy’s program to develop an autonomous, unmanned, jet-powered combat aircraft capable for operating from a carrier.

A touch-and-go landing is where an aircraft touches its wheels to a runway or flight deck, but does not come to a full stop. Instead, it throttles up and takes off again. Several high end take-off and laning tests were took for the full evaluation of X-47B's carrier operations. These experimental tests helps to improve set up UCS-D's future operational guidelines to elevate proper mission planing.

It was a simulated aerial combat between two heavy weight fighters of the U.S. Air Force Lockheed-Martin F-22 Raptor and Boeing F-15 Eagles to figure out the real scene of future aerial dogfight capabilities of the Raptors.

But, the result was shocking! Raptors are slightly lesser able to lock first opposite F-15 Eagles while dogfight occured. Very recent in UAE, in an aerial exercise F-22 Raptor was missile locked by the RAF Eurofighter Typhoon!

Though limitations of the close combat the BVR capabilities of the Raptors gives it enormous advantages over enemy fighters!

What Is A Cruise Missile & How It Works (Video)

Basically cruise missile resembles a small, pilotless aircraft. It does exactly what its name intended, can cruises over plain land, sea, desert, hilly terrain in all-weather situation. During World War-II the Nazis used the V1 cruise missile to hit enemy targets first ever in the history. Cruise Missile technology being constantly upgraded since then as this proves as a very effective and successful weapons platform without risking operator’s life.

Cruise missiles are either subsonic or supersonic depending on their propulsion and design.

U.S. military's BGM-109 Tomahawk is the most popular cruise missile across the world. Russians developed a variety of cruise missiles like Kh-35, P-15 KN-1, Kalibr LACM and many more.

There are mainly 2 types of cruise missiles. Land attack missiles-LACM and Anti-ship missiles-AShM.

Vladimir Putin Attended Victory Day Parade 2016 At Red Square, Moscow

Victory Day marks Germany’s surrender to the Soviet Union in 1945. It became the end of the Great Patriotic War for the USSR, which lost about 25 million citizens in the four years of fighting. Interestingly, until its 20th anniversary (May 9, 1965), Victory Day was not a major holiday, unlike, for instance, May 1, and was considered a work day.
Apart from the anniversaries in 1965 and 1985, Victory Day celebrations in the Soviet Union did not feature a military parade. This tradition started in 1995. In October 2012, Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree that would extend the Victory Day Celebrations from Thursday, May 9, 2013 to Sunday, May 12, 2013.
